The date was July 20th, 2019. And it was a HOT day that day. I guess for that reason, not a whole lot of people showed up at the bookstore where we were having these signings. Chuck and I were beginning to fear that our book-signing here might be a failure, since we didn't sell a single book for the first hour and ten minutes...
And then, as the day picked up, we were able to sell nine books total (most of them being within the last half-hour of our designated book-signing time)! And some of the buyers were members of book stores who showed interest in potentially promoting our book, and a few others were members of local schools who expressed interest in having me host some book-signings for them and their students!
So the lesson here is that patience is part of the key to success!
